Having used products from several MLM companies for myself and my clients over the years, I started to learn about the benefits of building an income stream with a Network Company as an asset.  So I ventured out and did what I was told, but it didn’t grow my business…

Since I’m a rather strong individual and never fitted in the standard school system, I felt the need to brand myself and follow my own path. I always loved the Internet and it was only natural that I started to use this medium for my business.  Last year after going through the hoops one more time and not be able to do that song & dance, I ‘fired’ my up-line.

Then, I began learning about building a website using the Site Build It Video Guide. The reason that I have a non SBI website is because VistaPrint matches my business cards (I just love my template!) and the other goodies.

The SBI guide is detailed, but harder to use with a non SBI site. Thus the site is still under construction. Knowing that SBI’s affiliate-program is one of the best, I may build a SBI site in the future.

Through the SBI SiteSell website I discovered Lisa Ibry’s 2planawebsite, 2creatawebsite and her Website Babble Forums. Lisa’s clear writing and informative video tutorials have been truly motivational. She also has good tips on starting a blog and her own blog is engaging and professional.

After being on Ann Sieg’s email list for awhile, I signed up at Renegade University to learn more about marketing my business online.  The hands on video tutorials of Mike Klingler are very useful. Another pay-to-upgrade program is Mike Dillard’s acclaimed ‘Magnetic Sponsoring’. He has some free downloads however just like Mari Smith, which I found helpful.

This led me to search for other Lead Generation Systems/Funded Proposal Systems on the internet with my Network Marketing down-line in mind. At this point I wanted a system that’s free and easily accessible for my down line. This is how I found Jason O’Toole’s free Prospex MLM / Social Online Marketing Training system that helps you to brand yourself while earning on affiliate commissions. Already I’m finding this beneficial and really enjoying it so far.

As part of my ongoing research this video from Teach J!m is helping to clarify how Lead Generation Systems/Funded Proposal Systems work.

Besides that he’s doing an ongoing MLM Lead Generation System Investigation in which he did a Review of Prospex (which came out rather good b.t.w.), Ann Siegs’ Renegade System, Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring and others…

Now some internet marketing guru’s out there think these systems are a total waste of time, money and don’t brand you but their founders. I’ll let you decide that for yourself. All I know is that many of these same savvy internet/network marketers created their own systems which they then turn around and now marketing to us! So is it a situation of criticizing each other to maximize their competitive advantage ?

I feel rather confident that I’m on the right path and do appreciate connecting with other creative like minded people. I’ll keep you posted of my journey and let’s stay in touch.

I have been learning to set up my very first blog to assist me in my online MLM Marketing or Network Marketing efforts from Jason O’Toole by video tutorial.

Jason’s tutorials are clear, concise and to the point. What I like is that they are short and sweet. I’m totally new to blogging and have held off to setting up a blog at myown domain website for several reasons (it’s complicated).
